With fifty years under her belt pertaining to the study of aether alone, this Viera has learned the ins and outs of how to properly manipulate and control it, bending it to her whims. The time devoted to this has taken a toll on her social interaction, though, in the past few turns, she has gained a rather high notoriety among individuals she has met. Her work with aether expands far beyond the normal art of casting and being able to use it for combat or even healing. She has taken the time to strip the force down to its most natural state, using it a way that perhaps has caused irreversible effects. However, if she is not properly asked about such, it would all just be speculation, wouldn't it?Some say she is an ink mage, the black veins that trail just under her skin giving her away with just one look. Though some claim she is of the void, she will correct them in almost an instant.She has dedicated her life to this and would be glad to talk to someone about it if they are interested, but it might just be more then someone can chew
Istanya comes off as mostly reserved. She has quite a sophisticated aesthetic, holding herself to quite a high standard then most. She can speak a handful of languages, and is able to write most others enough that she can get by. She always tries to keep a warm smile on her face even when topics shift into more unsavory ones.A friendly tone, always willing to help people without judging them on their past. She shows great understanding when it comes to emotions, so much so that perhaps she knows how to play on them a bit too well at times.
Currently, the ink mage finds herself tucked away in her home along with her partner and his child. There is a type of comfort that she has found between the two of them that she wouldn't trade for the world. She acts with greater caution, but still pushes those long house into her work.
Just a simple book lady, right? Or is that what she would want you to think…Over the past fifty years, this Viera has had her nose in the books for quite a few reasons. Her house has a personal library filled with journals and books that she has written herself. Countless pages filled with stories from others, tellings of lives and history told by the ones that lived through it. Though, one must ask what she does with all that information… She is highly sought out in the area around Ishgard as well as the Ul’dah nobility for her excellent writing of biographies, painting flawless paintings with her words on their triumphs and victories just as they want it. She will listen for hours with a pleasant smile on her face just letting them spill their information to her. She takes it all with a grain of salt, but at the end of the day, she gets what she really wants.
Her hobby of writing has taken many forms throughout the years. What started as simply wanting to document history through the words of the ones who lived it quickly morphed into a type of greed. All it took was one person handing her a bag filled with gil for information to kickstart the gears in her head.With the Viera’s ability to recall anything she, herself, as written, it was quite easy to line her pockets. Her memory is quite good, sometimes too good. Names and faces rarely escape her as she makes a point to file the images she sees before her in the back of her mind to pull later if something were to come up.Manipulation is key, she knows that, and will let her warm and timid demeanor speak for itself to make one open up to her to get the information she needs. Her kind words mixed with a bit of charm can draw most in if they are unaware what she is after, answering her questions with ease. However, she will gladly take a challenge with ones who pick up on her intentions. Nothing is off the table for the Viera when it comes to getting what she is searching for.
Istanya owns a small bar located just up the road from her personal abode in the Lavender Beds. Open on some Saturdays, but the doors are always welcome to visitors. She works out of the establishment, using it as a coverup for what she really does. The bar is a way to keep her hands clean of most of her underground work with most of the staff not knowing what the venue is really for.She welcomes others who might have questions regarding this information to set up a meeting to discuss potential connections or even partnerships.

Here you can find some information about my Gpose commissions. This is still a WIP, but we all have to start somewhere.My prices depend on subject and if any after edits are needed/wanted. All of the blood and aether edits are hand drawn by me by using a program so I am able to do a lot with it if needed and wanted to make your character come to life.
